Lodging

Seeing dear friends and loved ones again is one of the nicest parts of having a wedding.  If you're flying in from out of state, the nearest airport is in Durango, Colorado.  It's a small airport, so it's a bit pricier.  You can also fly into Albuquerque, New Mexico, and rent a car.  Albuquerque is only three and a half hours away.  Some suggestions for lodging...

The Oak Ridge Lodge is downtown and less than ten minutes from our home.  It used to be a Best Western, and the accommodations are nice and include breakfast.  You can easily walk to the river, hot springs, and downtown shops from the lodge.  When you call or book online, ask for the best rates available and let them know that you're with the McQuiggin wedding.  There may be a discount.

The First Inn is also near downtown.  I haven't stayed there, but it is a popular motel with the hunters in the fall.  It's right on the San Juan River.  If you call them before May 10th and tell them that you're with the McQuiggin wedding and would like the group rate, they will reserve a 1-2 person room for $60 plus tax.  This rate does not apply to an online booking.

The Springs Resort is a beautiful place to stay.  With your room, you have access to their healing hot springs.  We will be staying there the night of the wedding!  They fill up quickly, so, if you don't mind paying a bit more for a room, book your room now.
